Q) How can you offer Free SMS when the rest of the world charges for it?

YouMint can offer you Free SMS because we get our advertisers to sponsor them for you. You can send SMS upto 80 characters long. The remainder is used by our advertisers to append their messages. The interesting thing is that the Ads that will get appended will be contextual in most cases :-) It could be quite cool! For example, if you sent a message to a friend asking them to meet for a coffee, you could actually see a Cafe Coffee Day advt displayed at the bottom - offering you a cool discount!

Q) Why am I not receiving promos? When do I start getting them?
A)
Our sales team is on the job getting the advertisers signed up to use YouMint for promoting their products and services. Some very large advertisers are using YouMint to communicate with our members, like Star Movies, Nokia, TimesJobs, SimplyMarry, Juxt Consult, Max New York Life, Tata Sky, Barclays Bank, TripMela, Bharat Matrimony and several others.

Here are some possible reasons why you may not be receiving promotions from us:

1) Your Profile is incomplete: Promotions are sent to you based on your profile i.e who you are, where you stay, how old you are, how much you earn, what your education level is and many other factors.  Please make sure your profile is complete in all respects. If we dont know who you are, we wont be able to send you any promotions.

2) Mobile is not verified: Please make sure that your mobile number is verified on YouMint. You will not receive any promotions from us if your mobile is not verified.

3) Email Address is not verified: Please make sure that you have verified your email too. We wont be able to send you YouMint Cash Mails until you do this. If you have not received the verification email from us then all you need to do is send a blank email to verifyemail {at} YouMint.com and we will manually process your request. Please ensure that you send the blank email from the email address you used to register on YouMint.

4) Inactivity in your account: Please ensure that you open the emails we send you. If we see constant inactivity from your end, the YouMint’s promo algorithm will not send you any more promos. You need to be an active member on YouMint to receive promotions from us. We dont send promotions to inactive members.

If despite that you are not receiving promotions, please get in touch with us on support {at} YouMint.com and one of our support team members will investigate it further.

Q) Do I get paid for just inviting people, even if they dont join?

You get paid for people who join your network AND who complete their registration by verifying their mobile number.

Q) Why do I need to verify my mobile number?

Verifying your mobile phone is critical to becoming a member on YouMint. We stated earlier that YouMint is a network of REAL PEOPLE. Verifying your mobile is one very important part of verifying our users. This will help us keep the community secure.

A) Email them or scrap them or better yet, call them and tell them to verify their mobiles. As soon as they verify, you will start earning for their participation. YouMint follows the policy of verifying mobiles and email strictly since we only want real people on YouMint and this also helps us to ensure that multiple accounts are not created by the same person.

Q) How can I grow my network?

There are various innovative ways in which you can popularise your network link (YouMint.com/netwrok-username). Here are some of them:
- You can use our invitation tools to send invites from your addressbooks and other social networks.
- You can use our “Invite by SMS” feature to send invites via SMS
- You can promote your network link on your blog.
- You can include your network link in Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo IMs in your status field!
(Just make sure you don’t spam unknown people!)

Q) How do I unsubscribe from YouMint?
A) You can unsubscribe from YouMint by logging on to YouMint and choosing the “My Account” option. You will see the option to delete your account there.

Q) What is the difference between “Network” and “Friends”? I have 20 friends in my friends circle, but no money in my wallet?
A)
There is a difference between your “Network” and your “Friends”.

Your “Network” comprises of the people YOU have invited to YouMint and thus are members because of your invitation. You get paid only for those that are part of your network.

Your “Friends”, on the other hand include those in your network as well as other members on YouMint, who may be members already. You can make friends with anyone on YouMint who accepts your friendship request.
