It is very simple. There are several ways you can use YouMint to your advantage!

1) Send Free SMS from YouMint.

As a YouMint member, you can send Free SMS to your friends. You can send more Free SMSs to them if they are on YouMint as well! So go ahead and invite all your friends to YouMint so you can send them Free SMSs.

2) Get Paid for Incoming SMS and Emails. You get FULL control over how many, at what time and about what!

When you sign up with us, you will start receiving relevant promotional messages based on the number of messages you specify and the time you want to receive them. Each time you receive an SMS you will get paid for it! Each time you open the YouMint AdMail, you get paid.

3) Get Paid for promos sent to your network on YouMint.

You can invite your friends to join YouMint and we will pay you every time they interact with a promotion too! We’re not kidding! We pay for you for your direct referrals and for your referrals’ referrals as well.

Confused? OK, here’s how it works

Here’s what YOU get each time a Promo SMS is delivered to or a YouMint Cash Email is opened by:

- YOU – Rs 0.20
- Your Referral – Rs 0.10
- Your Referrals’ Referral – Rs 0.05

So, if you have lots of friends, who have a lot of friends, you could make a lot of money each time a promotion is done. Even if we send everyone ONLY 1 promo a day, you stand to earn Rs. 666 every month. OK, OK, here’s the math again

a) 1 promo x 30 days x Rs.0.20 per promo = Rs 6

So basically, you make enough to at least cover your mobile bill . If you are a popular person with lots of pals, you will make lots more. Else if you are the kind who walks around with the phone permanently attached to your ear, you better start making more friends so that you can cover that bill.

3) Introduce your friends and get paid when they join and when their friends join!

We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people asking us about our YouMint Mobile content marketplace! We like that

This is still under construction but here’s a brief on what you can do here. You can upload any mobile content (photo/piece of music/ringtone/theme ) you’ve made yourself and you think is cool enough to have demand! Once uploaded, our moderators will approve it and Voila! you are ready to make some serious moolah selling that to your friends and to the whole YouMint community!

There is also a storefront you can maintain for yourself. If you like someone else’s content and you think that the visitors to your personal nickpage (youmint.com/username) will yearn to have that piece on their phones, then there is good news for you. You can select that piece of content and add it to your shop and everytime someone buys it from there, you make money!! Pretty cool eh!

NOTE: The shopfront and the YouMint marketplace basically runs on user generated content – so we are relying on you – the users to make sure that the content is fresh, lively, appealing and sale worthy! At the same time we need to make sure that content is not copied/pliagiaraised . That amounts to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) violation and as any fancy lawyer in town will tell you, is illegal. So we decided to moderate the content flowing in – what this means is that every piece of content flowing in will be checked by a moderator for copyright violation/vulgarity before its uploaded.

A lot is happening behind the scenes at YouMint currently. Owing to YouMint’s popularity and the Free SMS service, we have been swamped with huge traffic on the site!

We are now touching the critical mass that is getting the advertisers excited and we need to seek your indulgence a little bit. You may have experienced that the site has been a bit slow lately. Some House Rules

Everyone who signed up is pretty excited but looks like we need some House Rules, so here we are:

• Each referral has to be an individual subscriber, that is, if two of you referred a third person, the person who made the referral first bags it provided the person referred signs up. We will count each person just once in the YouMint community.
• You get paid when the friend you referred signs up, and not just for referring
• If messages dont reach you (coz your phone is off/not working/off coverage area), sorry mate, you wont get paid for that message

When do you get paid?: You need to stay on our service for the first 30 days to get paid. And you need to have a minimum of Rs 300 in your account for us to cut you a cheque. Your account will be assessed at the end of each calendar month and based on your balance we will send you payments.

How does the payment happen?: We will be happy to send you a cheque, but there is lots of good stuff we intend to make available on YouMint and you can use your currency here as well.

So, all you people who signed up, read these rules carefully and stand by for us to start sending you those promotions!
